Biomedical Engineering Center, founded in January 2013, is a primary laboratory of USTC responsible for biomedical imaging and health research. The majority of BMEC facilities are located in the middle campus of USTC, with other primary facilities are gradually moving to High-Tech Zone of Hefei.
The international and multidisciplinary academic and engineering research team includes 2 professors, 5 young teachers and research elites, and more than 50 outstanding postdoctoral, graduated and undergraduate students.
The BMEC of USTC devotes to researching multiple frontier foundations and clinical application directions surrounding magnetic resonance imaging. The BMEC is equipped with a magnetic resonance radio frequency laboratory, an image-guided minimally invasive intervention laboratory, a molecular imaging laboratory, a neuroimaging laboratory, a medical image processing laboratory, a microfluidic laboratory, a radio-informatics laboratory and so on.
We cultivate your scientific attitude and improve your scientific quality, BMEC of USTC warmly welcomes all talents to join us.
“There is no royal road to science, and only those who do not dread the fatiguing climb of its steep paths have a chance of gaining its luminous summits.”
